Welcome to New York City's
Dagorhir Chapter
Novi Antiqui
Dagorhir is a live action fighting game that uses padded weapons in full contact combat. Members assume personas from different periods of history and from fantasy and battle against one another just for the sheer fun of it. The chapter is growing fast and drawing members from NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey. Everyone is welcome to come to our events and join the fun, but those under 18 must bring a signed and notarized waiver. For more on our rules and regulations as well as great tutorials on making weapons refer to the national Dagorhir website.
We currently are having practices once a month in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. We are also planning trips to a few interrealm events that happen throughout, like Ragnarok, Badon Hill, and Gates of Fire. We will also begin having events in Long Island in the near future.
